FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Welcome to the Tully United Community Church, a place where everyone is welcomed and appreciated for who they are. Whatever your background or past involvement with churches of any kind, you and your family are invited to visit with us often and to participate in any of the activities of the community. We hope you find what you are seeking and perhaps a home here at TUCC.

WHERE DO I PARK AND ENTER?

From the moment you pull onto the property, you will feel the excitement of the weekend worship experience at TUCC. The bells will ring to usher you into the service on time. We have a large parking lot and handicap parking spaces. You can enter from the front or side and follow the people to the sanctuary.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

Our attendees come in everything from skinny jeans and sneakers to dresses and slacks – so come in whatever you’re comfortable wearing! We’re just excited for you to join us! We’re confident that you’ll fit in no matter how you dress.

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING WORSHIP

TUCC service starts with a time of sharing announcements followed by the prelude music on the lovely grand piano or majestic organ. Our gifted musicians and singers will provide a spiritually moving musical foundation for everyone to join in.  The lessons, psalter and sermon are all Christian not specific to any one denomination.  Communion is celebrated the first Sunday of each month, all are welcome to participate.  Children are excused after the children’s moment to go to Sunday school. It’s all for one purpose—to experience God.

SUNDAY SCHOOL

Pam Downey serves as our Sunday School Superintendent and organizes weekly lessons, except the first Sunday of the month, for any children that attend. Children participate in the opening part of the church service and then leave for the lesson and other fun. Feel free to invite children you may know to join us weekly.

WILL I HAVE TO IDENTIFY MYSELF OR BE CALLED OUT?

We want you to feel welcome at TUCC. But you’ll never be asked to stand up, identify yourself or anything else that might make you feel uncomfortable. We ask that you fill out a card so that we can follow up with you after your visit. If you are interested in joining our membership, please contact our pastor.
